Erika Jones- Intern,

Marriage & Family Therapist

Human first. Always.

I believe healing starts when you’re truly seen, heard, and understood. That’s why my guiding philosophy is simple: every person is human first before any diagnosis, label, or life challenge.

I am an Intern Marriage and Family Therapist and a graduate student at Capella University with 11+ years of experience in the mental health field. Over the years, I’ve learned that real, lasting change happens within systems, our relationships, families, and communities. I’m passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families navigate these dynamics and grow through a whole-person, strengths-based approach. My commitment to this work is personal. A therapist once cared enough to make a meaningful difference in my life, and that experience inspires me to offer the same safety, compassion, and transformative support to others.

I integrate evidence-based modalities—Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy, tailoring each session to fit your unique story and goals. Whether you’re working through family conflict, relationship distress, trauma, anxiety, or a major life transition, I’m here to walk alongside you.

Let’s create meaningful change, together. Because you are human first.
